Hello! My name is Whitney Strouth.
"There is nothing like a dream to create the future."
I am a 3D Animator with 5 years of experience in VFX for streaming series and feature films. I have had the privilege of contributing to diverse projects creating high-quality keyframe animation and mocap performance enhancement while working collaboratively, respecting deadlines and balancing large workloads.
Driven by a relentless curiosity and a love for animation, movies and television, I bring a unique blend of creativity, positive attitude and a keen sense of humour to every project that I am a part of. I pride myself on being diligent and hardworking with an understanding of time management. My journey as a professional artist and beyond has been marked by a commitment to excellence, creativity, and collaboration; working as part of a team.
My career in animation for VFX started at Mill Film, working as an animator as part of a large animation department on two VFX feature films. I have a strong work ethic that is the driving force behind my commitment to excellence in every task I undertake; contributing to the success of teams at Mr X, MPC and Tippett Studio Canada.
I have always wanted to become an animator since I bought my first "Learn to Draw Mickey Mouse" book, it was then I decided I wanted to draw the movies. What continues to excites me most about animation is the challenge to grow and learn as an artist while helping to create characters and stories that can be enjoyed. Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about continuing to learn and grow to becoming a stronger senior artist, with a long term goal of taking on more responsibility in leadership roles.

I also worked at Disney World for a year as a Cultural Representative, for the magic and for the fun!
